  • Pre-tune inspection and testing, including chronograph testing
  • Complete Dis-assembly
  • De-grease factory parts
  • Lightly de-burr factory parts
  • Cross-hatch the highest-friction area of receiver tube
  • Check, de-burr, and adjust fit of new parts
  • Add and fit mainspring de-torquing parts to piston
  • Add new lubes, moly, tar, etc.
  • If barrel muzzle crown needs re-surfacing it's an additional $25
  • De-grease, re-lube, and adjust trigger unit.
  • On applicable RWS/Diana barrel-cocking models, modify the barrel pivot bolt parts for additional adjustment, and modify the stock to allow access to the barrel pivot bolt and nut.
  • Install your stock screws with blue Lock-Tite

The following additional work is done only to RWS/Diana air rifles:
Modify the T01 and T05 trigger blades to provide both 1st and 2nd stage adjustment.

  • Check, de-burr, and adjust fit of new parts

  • If barrel muzzle crown needs re-surfacing it's done at no additional cost
  • De-grease, re-lube, and adjust trigger unit. Stoning of trigger sears on RWS/Diana T01 and T05 units is included.
  • On applicable RWS/Diana barrel-cocking models, modify the barrel pivot bolt parts for additional adjustment, and modify the stock to allow access to the barrel pivot bolt and nut.
  • Install your stock screws with blue Lock-Tite
  • Install your scope mounts/rings and scope if they are provided.
  • Sight-in your rifle at 8 yards AND test for a pellet that's (reasonably) accurate in your rifle

The following additional work is done only to RWS/Diana air rifles:
Modify the T01 and T05 trigger blades to provide both 1st and 2nd stage adjustment.

The services described in bold lettering are upgrades that are not included in my Essential Tune.

Some Important Parts and Pricing Notes:

  1. I primarily feature high-quality, upgraded ARH/Air Rifle Headquarters/James Maccari tuning parts whenever possible. But, I have some other parts options available in instances where the ARH parts don't cover the model of your rifle, and/or what you have in mind.
  2. Some very-nice tunes can still be done at a significantly-lower parts cost by getting the tuning labor done, then adding an upgraded ARH mainspring to your factory guide (as opposed to buying a complete spring KIT, that has a new mainspring AND new, custom-made spring guides). You'll still choose which of the two tuning levels you want done; the tuning labor prices remain the same.
  3. You may be able to put a portion of your tuning project cost on a credit card. If we determine that ARH has the parts we need for your tune, you can purchase them directly from them with a credit card if you wish, and they'll ship them directly to me if you specify my address as the 'Ship-to" address. (You'll still need to use your name and address, etc, in the 'Billing Information' portion on his order page).
  4. Occasionally, some NIB (new-in-the-box), good-quality UK-made tuning parts still surface. If you have some of those in your possession, please let me know and I'll work with you regarding the possibility of using them. You should let me know from the start if that's what you have in mind, and exactly what parts you have, so I can determine if we can proceed in that direction.
  5. I am currently not using or installing Vortek parts. (If this item changes, I'll update my site with an announcement).
